Jacomo Legacy Blast Fireworks Raft-Up 2023

The event does require having a boat on the lake or being invited by an attending boat owner.

Join JYC to enjoy a free fireworks show put on by Lee's Summit Parks & Rec at Legacy Park as we celebrate our great nation's independence.  We will raft up at the south end of the lake starting around 7:00pm.  If you can't make it by 7:00 that's not a problem, just join us when you can. We'll monitor hails on VHF 72.  If you can make it to the lake before 7:00, get a great sail in before you join us.  The fireworks are scheduled to begin around 9:30 with a simulcast of the music for the fireworks on 94.9 FM KCMO.  

Traditionally each boat provides an appetizer to be passed around and shared between the boats.  Many also have a "signature boat drink" that they share with others as well. Optional but encouraged! Definitely bring floating and glowing/lightup things!
